As a Dominican artist, actor, producer, and entrepreneur, Ridge blends numerous
sounds on his keyboard with emotive vocals to create unique, immersive musical
experiences. Inspired from a tender age by the likes of First Serenade, WCK, Belles
Combo, and the Midnight Groovers, Ridge enjoys playing a variety of genres, including
bouyon, zouk, soca, kompa, and reggae. He found his musical calling after being gifted
his first keyboard at the age of 11 by his dad, and his love for music increased when he
started classical music classes shortly after.
Having toured the Caribbean region and the world for the last ten years, he recently
started pursuing his singing career, producing “Riddim Tonight” in 2018 and “Come &
Cocay” in 2019. His latest single “Doh Call My Phone” was released in 2020.
Ridge aims to create a wide variety of music that fits any mood touching on social
issues and more personal narratives speaking to life, relationships, and love. He hopes
to help persons overcome their problems, whether it is emotionally, spiritually, or
physically. By sharing his passion for music with his audience, especially the youth, he
wishes to emphasize that music can be a full-time job, with opportunities to generate
revenue not only through live performances but through monetizing music on social
platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok which significantly
assisted during the effects of the pandemic.

matter, but having a reliable team is what counts most.
Besides his music career, Ridge dabbles in video production, which he considers a big
part of the music as good visual is as vital as good music. He views this as a great way
of promoting Dominica’s rich culture for tourism purposes and job creation. He also
enjoys marketing and photography, where he gets to share images of the world through
his eyes.
When he is not at his keyboard, Ridge can be found spending quality time with the key
persons in his life, including family, siblings, and son. He believes in a higher power and
feels connected when exploring nature, experiencing new places, and cultures, meeting
positively driven individuals, and learning new languages.
